Mishkin's first impact on the GoldenEye 
Mission was his revealing to General 
Ouromov that two people survived the 
Severnaya blast, not one. Later, just 
after Bond and Natalya escaped from 
the Tiger Helicopter Mishkin had them 
arrested for the Severnaya Blast and the 
theft and destruction of the Tiger. They 
were going to be put to death but 
Natalya finally confessed that 
Ouromov was involved with the Tiger 
and Severnaya. Mishkin called in 
Ouromov and confronted him, causing 
Ouromov to shoot him then lay the 
blame on Bond.
