NEW ARRIVAL TESTING REQUIREMENT

As of January 1, 2022, all guests are required to present a negative antigen test within the same day of arrival at GoldenEye.

Tests can be done either at the Montego Bay and Kingston Airports or we are happy to make the necessary arrangements to be tested on property at a cost of USD$83 per person.

For those arriving on property in the evening, we recommend testing at the airport as the Ministry of Health nurses who test on-site will not be available at this time. Another option is to use a self test kit in the presence of an agent on property.

If you arrive on property after this time without a negative antigen test, you will be required to check directly into your room until you are tested the following morning. Room service will be available of course. Once a negative test is received, you are free to enjoy the property.

If you receive a positive test, your entire party will be required to quarantine in room until a Ministry of Health Officer clears you.

The health and safety of everyone on property is our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your support and cooperation while we all navigate our way through these challenging times.

CDC REQUIREMENTS DEPARTING JAMAICA

Per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), all guests traveling back to the United States will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result within 24 hours of their departure from Jamaica. The negative test is required to board the departing plane back to the US.

Traveling back to another country? Please check your region’s updated exit/entry requirements.

To ensure a smooth process for our guests, we have arranged for on-site testing (PCR or Antigen) to be done at all of our Island Outpost properties by licensed medical professionals. Upon booking your stay with us, please schedule your COVID-19 test in advance with the hotel directly.

Please note a negative COVID-19 test is still required to enter Jamaica as well.

We’re here to provide minimal disruptions to your trip plans and an overall smooth experience. For additional information regarding the new guidelines, please refer to the FAQs below and your specific region’s protocols.
